I always used the Harold Baines .84 card as a pinch hitter and he has almost doubled in price.

They grossly overreacted to our overuse of excellent bargains. Instead they should have priced them so they are still used, just so that it hurts a little to lay out the extra cash but not so much that they are completely shunned by any manager who has even the slightest inkling of what they are doing. Taveras should be maybe .75M but certainly not over a million. Perhaps their overreaction was because they felt guilty for their prior pricing mistakes.
