"THOSE WERE THE DAYS" LEAGUE

Guy and I have been chatting about this in PMs and I suggested he post this in the ILC. This is not a loophole but a conscious sequence of events in the rules. There are different "legal" events at different times in a season's life cycle, including:
- Prior to start of draft
- After start of draft
- After end of draft
- After game 132
- After game 141

I think this is all completely Irrelevant to the case I've described. The in-season circumstances follow the rules. I believe that trading protected players after the draft has started circumnavigates the rules. It's a loop-hole, and we need to close it.

In the case in point, any uneven trade during the draft (2-for-1, player for pick, etc.) would result in the circumstance under discussion.

This is not true. It depends on the number of protected players from each team were included.

Shall we take a vote?

If there's no discussion, yes we should.

An owner has brought up an issue, and a very reasonable and simple solution to the matter. There should be a vote, there isn't a big rush considering we just finished a draft and have an entire season to go.

As far as I know, this is consistent with the rules of every keeper league in the online Strat environment.
