Was there a contractual above the board transference of power from Cousy to Long for Commish duties or was this just an outright coup?

I know Cousy said he was stepping down but we've seen dozens of CEOs 'step down' the past several months when we all know they were forced out.

Or is Cousy 'Tesla the Inventor' in this scenario who had all the great ideas and Long just came in and made an expensive car out of it?

as far as I know cousy is the commish. if he doesn't want to be commish, I'm sure someone could do it. I was just trying to make sure that the league actually filled. I still haven't heard from any of those original 4 guys and I sent out a Page on the ATG board and I pm'd each of them through messages....nothing. thats just weird.

Anyway, hopefully this last team loads soon and we're full.

Then the autodraft will run, followed by waivers, then free agency, then we play ball. don't know how much more Commish duties there are, but it would be good to know who to contact for questions.

At this point, people can do whatever they like, and I encourage them to do so. That multi-thread monster of ridiculousness, riddled with questions already answered, some folks’ odd impatience with board response time, unsolicited league change suggestions, and one random Strat dude chasing away a newer player toward the end of the main thread; followed by four people bailing before the draft, ended my involvement and interest beyond a managerial level. Sorry.

Verbal, Here is where we lost our commish and Paul Long has taken the bull by the horns and got us back on track with help from others. If Paul doesn't want the label of commish that's fine but just letting you know that our original commish has resigned his post apparently and is merely a Manager like the rest of us at this point.
