I had some weird pitching subs last night---not that weird.

Obviously a programming gremlin--or maybe Kapler is managing your team.

Have seen this a couple of times. 1) If you had injured starters then a RP starts and then is relived before he can pitch. 2) It has happened that way just because it happened that way

I’m new and I’m enjoying everything so far. Can anyone offer insight into the following two scenarios: The game is in extra innings and I’m the home team. First batter doubles. Next batter up is a low salaried reserve player who i previously selected to “sac bunt” more. Needless to say he didn’t bunt and strikes out. The next batter flies out which may have resulted in a sac fly RBI to win the game and long story short the inning ended without any scoring. Next, in the same game, my starting pitcher was set to get the quick hook and to not pitch more than 6 innings. Well he gave up 3 homers to the same player with runners on during two of his three plate appearances. The 3rd homer was in the 7th inning AND he wasn’t relieved after the 3rd homer....and stayed in for a complete game loss. I’m happy, having fun and not complaining. I’m getting a lot of satisfaction that I’m entering the right commands regardless of the computer not following my prompts. Thanks for any feedback.
