ATG Theme League-3 year combos-

This is a new ATG9 theme league in which you will get a combination of 3 years from which to build your team. Thanks to Riggo for his research on # of cards etc.... I have some modifications to that so that everyone has a decent amount of players to choose from. There are four 2-year combos and three 4-year combos due to card numbers.

The last one of these (from last week) started play on Friday night, this is a new version with some updates to streamline things.

At this time, we're looking at $80M salary cap, DH, stadium may come from any year, no trades (unless you trade to a team that also has player rights/a carded year of same player)

Some players like Mantle will be available to multiple owners, the autodraft card ranking strategy is crucial in this regard.

The years for the league are as follows: 30-33, 34-36, 37-39, 40-41, 42-45, 46-48, 49-51, 52-54, 55-56, 57-59, 60-62, 63-65, 66-68, 69-71, 72-74, 75-77, 78-80, 81-83, 84-85, 86-87, 88-90, 91-93, 94-97, 98-00

Some will still have a lot more cards to choose from, but all but two combos have over 100 to choose from. Last league I had a 75-76 combo which only had 90 total cards and I was fine. In this you should be fine to create a solid team that fits in the $80M budget.

a randomizer will be run to determine which years go to each owner.

I'd suggest...

--> 80M Salary Cap | Keep the cap at 80M

--> DH | Add DH as that allows a bit more flexibility in team building

--> 1931-1990 Yearly Groupings | Use years 1931 to 1990 in 2 or 3 consecutive-year groupings depending the # and value of cards available in those years (Paul said he's looking at the list I posted and I'll check them myself after I finish work today - I'm in California) --> Paul's recommended groupings work for me

--> "Scrubs" | All cards <.70M will be defined as "scrub" players and are not associated with the Yearly groupings. Instead, these players are available to be selected by all teams to even out rosters --> IMO this would help a lot

Stadiums

I propose your stadium is in your decade, if possible, or at least with in 10 years of your grouping.

I like that idea. stadium within 10 years of the card years you get.

should be enough decent choices within that stipulation.

I'd suggest...

If this is done lower to .50 and limit to 2 per team. But it should not be unnecessary
