ATG Theme League-3 year combos-

Hey Paul, I have a couple questions. I’m an ATG virgin.

If a player has multiple cards in our years (e.g. Sandy Koufax has cards in 63, 64 & 65), do we put him on our draft cards multiple times?

Could Koufax be 3 of our 4 *SP pitchers in that example?

Willie Mays is available to 5 different managers, and with the different Mays cards he could end up being drafted by all 5. If I draft his 55 card, I’m the only one that can draft that card, but can the manager with 57-59 can draft his 57, etc.

So I’m confused. Appreciate clarification. Thanks

Are we limited to only having 25 players on our AD card? I assume the answer to this is yes but just wanted to clarify for everyone.

For the managers not in the previous league there is a hint of how to see your players more easily in the player pool. Once your create your team name, etc and are ready to start selecting players...

Click on the arrow next to Advanced: show>
At the bottom of that box there are two boxes under "Years". Put the first year you have in the first box and your last year in the 2nd box and then click on SEARCH.
You will only see the cards from your years.

You can do this for Hitters, Pitchers or any position, etc.

Only one Koufax card can be owned in the entire league--determined my manager rankings. Also, the draft card will not let you pick a player for your own team more than once

Same as above... Mays can only be owned by one team. After you have filled your draft card, you will have to rank/prioritize players. This is very important as it is how a player like Mays is sorted. The Manager who ranks him highest gets him. If it's a tie, HAL decides randomly. For this league you can only use cards in your designated year range (you are the only one who could use 1955 card if you get him)

Also the Advanced button for searching location.
Click on FREE AGENTS
Click the arrow on the far right end of the search entry box
A Box will come up with search parameters will come up
The last search criteria is "Advanced"--click on "more" and more stuff comes up
The very last item for entry is a range of years... enter your years and search.
You will have to redo this as you go between Pitchers and Hitters

When you go to see all the possible players just like in any SOM game. When you get that box open you can search by position LH, RH or Switch hitter, sort by price, etc. If you keep looking down in that box you will see Advanced: show>. Click there and you are able to refine your search by defensive rating, Balance, injury risk, etc. Look down at the bottom of that box and you will see that you can sort by Years. There are two boxes. Put your first year in the first box and your last year in the 2nd box and then click on Search. You will only see players from your years then.

You can click on any player to see all possible years. If a player you want has cards from other years then another manager could possibly steal him from you by putting him higher on their AD card. If another manager wins that player in the Auto Draft then you will have to reconfigure your roster with other players available to you. That is why strategy in the Auto Draft is important.

my team ready, waiting on league

On my draft card it is only players from 1960-1962? I can't put down a cheap mantle from another year to try to get more flexibility on my draft card and then switch to a 1960-1962 Mantle after waivers?
