I'm sorry to say that those who wold rend their garments at the sight of Eddie Gaedel will have to find another avenue for their outrage. Already heard from strat and it's a no.

Barry Larkin 1995. MVP season and not in the game. heck, it's not even in the 90s game. makes no sense. and I think it'd be a good option instead of his super high $ card with the power. Its a truer version of what Larkin did throughout his career. Based on his splits that year I'd guess it's a balanced card versus the 2 lower priced options we have now that are 5L and 3R.

here's a card i'd love to see. Cisco Carlos, 67 WSox, RP, 0.86 ERA, 0.76 WHIP, and no HR's allowed. 41IP's. his ERA+, a whopping +352. to compare Gagne's was +337 in his MVP year. he only pitched 4 years + 6 innings so he doesn't have a card in the 60's game. maybe he had a card in the 67 set? i don't know. 63 Berra is a very interesting card he's for platoon catching which seems to be the trend with the injury bug. he's a 9R batting.

Matt, you are very funny ("...rend your garments...").

My suggestion for your consideration is to ask them to remake the 1985 Doc Gooden card. That's probably not a thing (remaking cards), but it's the only thing I can think of that I would want card wise.

I hope you enjoy making your decisions and then seeing the cards when they come out.

Great suggestions everyone - keep them coming!

I'm sure I will add some players to the set who already have cards in ATG but the quickest path to my heart is to suggest a player who has been completely left out until now. For someone who already has a card let me know why this new card is important - like the great post about the Barry Larkin card.

I will take at least a week, maybe more, sorting through the options so in the meantime let them fly!
