Danny Frisella NYM 1971. 1.99 e.r.a. No card. He and Tug McGraw were a devastating bullpen tandem that year. Frisella, a rh pitcher was a 7l that year and an r3.

Spring training injury in 1975 derailed a promising career.
Would be a nice addition for the Exp-era White Sox.

1986 Alfredo Griffin, SS Oakland. Griffin was an amazing defensive SS in his prime. Need a Griffin card that is a "1" on defense to represent him properly.

Jim Edmonds. 1996. He doesnt have an Angels' card. .304 375 .571. Good defensive cf, imagine would be a 2 or a 1. '90s has him as a 3 injury, which is an issue. But he's listed as an 6R, giving platoon possibilities

Agree with 1977 Watson (or any Watson).

Further...Bob Watson card upgrade to distinguish the Gentle Giant:

Watson's .299 batting average in the ‘70s was 10th-best among all National League hitters and 5th among right-handed hitters. He became the first player in MLB history to hit for the cycle in both leagues.

And the real kicker for anyone who remembers the Bad News Bears game in the old Astrodome:
He led the chants of "Let Them Play!" in "The Bad New Bears in Breaking Training"

Of his ATG9 3.25 and .87 cards, neither represents the performance of this HOFer who also led a distinguished career in baseball management.

Javier Vasquez is one of the very few post 1920 players with 40+ WAR and no card. Had many solid years in the juiced ERA with a continuous losing team , so he got under the radar somewhat.

I am a big fan of Javier Vasquez. Very quiet guy, art lover. Wasn't surprised that he couldn't adjust to the New York zoo. He took a year off after finishing a season with 57-ish scoreless innings, and never came back. Was among the top 30 in career strikeouts when he left.

His best card is probably the 2009 season he had with the Braves, but he only pitched one season there, and in any case, it would be so weird to look at him as a Braves.

I would love to see one of his Expos season. I am not sure between the 2001 and the 2003 seasons which one was the best, probably 2001 I guess.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Old Penitentiary Face’s ‘84, or the Can’s Comeback with Montreal in 1990. Why? Because nicknames, my friend.
