if you are looking for a lefty that kills lefty (but no power) the 1974 Dave Rader (C) card fit the bill.

During his Alabama days he was the best singles hitter i ever saw.

1990 Magadan would be an interesting card. Hit well and only 2 errors at 1B.

Last one: Dave Hollins

Starting 3B for 1993 Phil pennant winners. All Star that year. Switch hitter with eye and some power. 1992 season is his best, at 6.1 WAR, 27 bombs, lots of walks, and 19 HBP.

His 1997 year has lower, more representative OPS, and can actually steal a base or two, and play some 1B.Had a yo-yo career, performance-wise, but when he was good, was very good. Not much with the glove as I recall. Would imagine the ‘93 and ‘97 cards would be cost effective.

No card in ATG.

One more;

1970 Ken Henderson; SF Giants ;I have his card from the old set, but no online card as of yet. Ken is a switch hitter who can play all 3 outfield positions as a 2 (-2) ,He batted .294 with an OBP of .394 with 17 Hrs; he had 649 plate appearances and in addition he is an A base stealer.

Henderson would be a nice addition to franchise leagues assuming he is priced correctly. Let's face it we already have just about every great player and every great season in the pool notwithstanding some of the more recent seasons, With his versatility he just might be a popular choice.

Jeffrey Leonard either '81 or '84, not sure which is a better fielder. I remember using his strike shortened card in a head to head league. 14 year career and his current card never gets used, either year would be an upgrade.

84 Leonard is a 1 in LF and 2 in CF & RF. Good power, really good vs LHP

Kind of a fluke card. I remember this card well from my keeper league at the time. If he bats enough vs lefties, this card would set the all time record for triples!

Nope, you're thinking of the 81 card with the triples (and only 157 Plate Appearances). I'm talking about the 1984 card.

1984 Jeffrey Leonard, SF, Bats-R, 4L Balance, LF-1(-2)e10, CF/RF-2(-2)e10
LH--2b-4, 3b-0.6, HR-10, BB-5, 409/436/750, 1.187 OPS
RH--2b-5.7, 3b-0, HR-4.6, BB-11, 309/380/510, .889 OPS
