Due to the rules of the autodraft, it's possible an owner may not get either of their top selections. This would put the owner at a significant disadvantage. To reduce this risk, I'm proposing that we hold a two round draft via the message board. This will allow owners to adapt their strategy based on available players rather than being assigned the best undrafted player.

After the stadium and dispersal draft, we will run a randomizer--we will use a snake draft--the owner with the last pick of the first round will have the first pick of the second round.

After the draft, we will then use the autodraft process for remaining players. You can place the players you selected via the two round draft as the last two selections on your autodraft list.

So, for the pitching teams, are there 3 drafts? One draft for the great defensive players (Larkin, Vizquel, Alomar, etc.), one draft for the Stadiums and then one 2 round draft for any player (within the rules constraints)?

You are correct. There will be three drafts for the pitching centric teams. We will use two randomizers—-the first will be used for the stadium and draft of the 6 players. The second will be for the two round draft. Thanks for joining.

I also like the idea of a 2-round draft. For pitching teams there are very few elite SPs. It would suck to have one team get 2 or more of them through the AD while another team gets none. A couple of rounds of drafting makes it fairer.
