catcher restrictions

I am seeking clarification on catcher requirements. We are required to draft two players whose primary position is catcher, but can we then release one of these catchers and replace him with another player who has a secondary catcher rating?

Yes--you have to draft 2 primary catchers--but roster requirements after that are just two catchers.

Strat had draft/roster issues when someone auto drafted something like a primary 1B that could catch too--if you missed him--you would get a 1B as the replacement in auto draft--then you could not drop anyone pre waivers as the roster requirements were not met as you only had one catcher---and in waiver process the only way to proceed was drop 1st pick for a catcher.

requiring drafting 2 primary catchers fixed that auto draft and waiver glitch--but you can drop a primary catcher for any other player that can catch as long as two catchers are on team after drafts have run. Like 2019 Schwarber for instance.
