2007 - $65M open draft
2008 and 2009 - $65M 12 keepers
2010 thru 2012 - $70M 13 keepers
2013 thru 2015 - $75M 14 keepers
2016 thru 2018 - $80M 15 keepers
2019 thru ? - $85M 16 keepers

I am curious why the salary caps start at 65 million and go up? Is it because those early seasons have players priced cheaper? Or is it because of the keepers?

This is a league that just went from 2007 to 2019 and we have two more similar leagues so I think he was just trying something new to change it up.

My thinking is that in the early years the lower salary and number of keepers allows teams access to many good players while the later years allows teams to build for the future. Just trying to make it challenging throughout.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know it was a 24 team league, that is cool. 65 million dollar cap is probably better for 24 teams. I am really interested. But I am also competing in two tournaments currently... I love those 2007, 2008 seasons all the way up to the present. I was just about to join either a 2007 or a 2008 league.
