Hitter or Pitcher card?

PostWed Jul 08, 2020 10:47 am

Is there a way to know if a hit or out was a result of the hitter's card or the pitcher's card? I have looked all over, but can't find a way to tell in 365.

Thanks for helping a newbie! Finishing up my first season.

It's in the play-by-play section of your box scores, under Roll. If the first number is 1-3, it was on the batter card... if it's 4-6 it was on the pitcher card.

Great, thank you!

Is there a way to see beyond play-by-play? For example, if I want to evaluate a pitcher of mine, can I see how many HR's or SO's came from my pitcher, as opposed to the batter for the whole season, or for more than a single game? Is that data collected anywhere?

Thanks again!

Not to my knowledge. I think the best you can do is to look under Sim Misc on your roster page. Under Rolls, you can see how many total rolls were on your pitcher's card. It's usually around 50 percent, of course, but sometimes you'll notice players who are getting extremely lucky or unlucky... which can sometimes explain why a player is over- or under-performing.
