Remembering the old "challenge the yankees "board game I put in a team of players with only yankee cards with the exception of ruth whose main batting cards are with the yankees. The rest of the player pool is available including NEL
Thought it would be fun using the ATG 9 ALL ERAS

Did you intend for "challengers" to be other franchises or just carte blanche best players that you can corral in an auto draft?

with the exception of ruth my player pool is players with only yankee cards. ie no Gossage,arod,henderson,jackson etc..

Still needs 8. I’m surprised nobody wants to take a shot and put a team together to beat the Skanks.

OK, you've got realize this will take a very long time to fill. Theme leagues like this are, rightfully so, held in disdain by most of us because the league creator gets to selfishly choose the best players for himself, and expect others to jump at the chance to join this and then be thrilled at the prospect of having a less than fair chance to make the playoffs or win the championship. Who wouldn't want to have Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle and Dimaggio together on the same team? It would be different if the Yankees franchise was chosen randomly; but sadly, this is not the case here.

While I agree with you in theory I’ve been in a similar league or two like this and the Yankees didn’t win. I’ve also been in franchise leagues where I’ve had the Yankees and ones that I didn’t and they didn’t always win. In fact it’s a terrible feeling when you have them and they lose. Basically for me it’s a change of pace and it’s no worse than some theme leagues I see on here.
