Defense becomes more and more important as cap rises.

Babe Herman in RF is very doable for caps $100 million and below....typically if I play Herman in RF I like to draft a defensive stalwart in CF to mitigate the damage.

I've used Herman, usually around 100m, and I regularly get 40 HR, 150+ RBI, a .360-.370 AVG. He doesn't make a lot of errors, though it looks like about 20 fly balls a season that he doesn't get to that a better RF should.

Well, I was looking at the X Chances on Fly Balls, there's a decent disparity between chances and catches Babe makes.

On the Sim Fielding Page, X Tot X Out.......

Babe Herman was a colorful funny guy who was known for his misadventures running bases and defensively...

On two occasions in 1930 – May 30 and September 15 – Herman stopped to watch a home run while running the bases and was passed by the hitter, in each case causing the home run to count only as a single. And on September 20 of the following year, he was thrown out trying to steal a base against the St. Louis Cardinals, even though opposing catcher was 48-year-old Cardinals manager Gabby Street, appearing in his first game (as an emergency substitute) since 1912. Pitcher Vance dubbed him "the Headless Horseman of Ebbets Field" for his various mistakes.
