Looking for opinions - Fielder ratings or errors?

When looking at 2B, should I look more at the defense rating, or the errors?

For example, is 1e13 going to be better for me in the long run than a 2e6?

I am trying to go for a small ball, defense-minded team with strong pitching, because I think watching those games is more exciting. My home field will be Petco Park, which has 1's across the board.

The range rating is almost always more important than the error rating.
