I have one ring this year.

$22 SP, $10 RP (one <$1 LOOGY)

$32 mil. ($32.12 to be exact)

I need to get back in my own kitchen.

I'm 0 for 13 for rings with .556 winning percentage. So there must be some flaw in my teams that comes out playing good teams in the play-offs. But my three 100 win teams had one thing in common: very good defense. 79%, 82.5%, and 80.9% of X chances. Play poor defense at your own risk...

I actually have not focused as much on excellent defence as the year went on...so those stats on X chances are a good reminder.

I'm finding most of my problems come from hits given up on my pitcher cards for 2019. Just getting bombed on pitcher cards and ONLY getting outs on hitter cards, and then just getting bombed when everyone gets tired. And still the horrible HAL decisions that are only worse now with new roles. I find 2019 very frustrating. More frustrating than I find Strat in general, which often seems to have cards completely divorced from performance and are so inconsistent from similar performance in different contexts.
I've also had bad luck to add on to other stuff.

I've been finding my teams either get buried early and go on a hot streak at the end to close out. Or get killed at the end with a wave of injuries after clawing my way back. When I've built for defense I've had HAL do weird decisions to deal with injuries that have killed my defense.

I had an 82-80 team that finished on a 13-0 streak. Just needed a little time to get going...I mean, did Hal decide to make up for all the bad luck before that?

I literally cant lose at Citizens (except in the first round of the play-offs. But cant win at Great American and they are similar ballparks)....everywhere else is a crapshoot.

So, yeah, I hear you.
