Hit v Pitch--70s -the wrap up-10/10/20

I used the new SOM feature allowing the creation of private leagues via a private message--you should have received a message from me--the code needed to join the league is included. One of the new features allows the commish to edit divisions so there's not a need to stagger joining the league by in the east, central, west order.

This is the first time I used this feature so I'll post a message here if there are any unforeseen issues and we can use the traditional method for joining as a fall back plan. If you did not receive a message with the code, please alert me either on this board or via PM.

Juiced JC has the first pick for the hitters while Sphillps has the first pitcher pick. If you'd like to start this part of the festivities, feel free to do so--we do have a few more picks in the dispersal draft but I don't see any reason to delay the start of this draft--we know the pitching teams will be getting a left handed hitting first baseman.

I did not receive a code to enter the league. Are we allowed to take any pitcher starter or reliever? If I remember correctly for the 90 league there was a list of pitchers we had to choose from. Just wondering if I missed something.

You can draft any player (hitter if you are a hitting team, pitcher if you are a pitching team) that is not in one of the lists that has its own draft for pitching teams only. It was mentioned at the very bottom of the rules:
Player draft-all teams participate
We will hold a two round draft-snake style—draft of players eligible for your type of team. After that, we will use the auto-draft function to complete rosters. If you are assigned a player that is not eligible for your team, please release the player before the season starts.
