In retrospect, after rereading the rules, I like Giants better. I thought I would get Silver King, Bradley, and Tip but they only have 1800 cards.

Cards do get those guys. It's pre 1900 guys not tied to current clubs like Barnes, Hecker, and some others. Several franchises started before 1900. Although most started 1901.

pre-1900 players that have a card not tied to a current franchise (Baldwin, Barnes, Browning, Hecker, Sweeney, and some players like Radbourn, Jennings, and Keefe also a card to a non-current franchise that can be available at FA/waiver wire if not drafted or drop during FA.)

Yes only you can draft Keefe but if you drop him he has a Troy card which would make him available once waivers/FA begin.
