Franchise Keeper League (moving to 80s) - Filled

2-team Franchise league w/ "franchise" keeper player looking for 2 new owners, as move from '70s to '80s.

Each owner will keep 1 of their teams from the '70s, with a 1 round draft for 2nd team (done in league page).

And can keep keep 1 "franchise" player from their end of season roster for their kept team that has a card for that kept team in the '80s (or '90s). For example, the Giants can "franchise" Jack Clark into the '80s, but not Gary Matthews.

Available team combination:
Braves / Astros
Reds / Brewers

Timing:
Roster Freeze occurs 9/16; season ends 9/22. Last day for Team/Franchise player decision 9/23; with draft starting
9/24 (finishing 10/1 - 10/3; depending on finals)

Full rule set:

3 Strat seasons; cycling through the 70s/80s/90s card sets
During/after 3rd season - If there is enough interest, can repeat cycle....

Salary Cap: $100M
Will Include DH

Team selection: 2 Round Snake Draft on Individual Chat Board (random draft order)
Keep same teams in 2nd and 3rd seasons for that decade

Mystery Set/Decade change: Keep 1 team w/ 1 round draft for 2nd team (introduce expansion teams to pool)
Draft order will be set by Win % (lowest to highest) -
Tie break#1: H2H win % for all teams tied (lowest to highest)
Tie break#2: Most Negative Run Differential (lowest to highest)

1-8) Ordered by Win % & Tie Breaks
9/10) Semifinalists ordered by Win % & Tie Breaks
11) World Series Runner up
12) World Series Winner

Stadium: Must be from one of your teams (can change between seasons)

Divisions: 1st season Random; 2nd/3rd seasons will be same as 1st season.

Team Name: Should be City from one team and Name from other

Player Drafts: Autodraft w/ players eligible for teams they have card
Players must have 1 card on mystery card w/ one of your two franchises
Players with cards only for one or both of your teams are exclusive to your team

Post Draft Waivers will be used each season
Must release players ineligible for your team/make team league compliant as soon as possible
Trades can only be made for players eligible for the teams they are going from/to.
-- Auto-drafted players not eligible for the team that "drafted" them need to be released (not trade eligible)

Keepers: 1 "keeper/protected" player from previous year's end of season roster (FA's at end of season ineligible).

Looking for an owner to take over Astros/Braves.

What do you mean by franchise player? If I take the Braves and Astros, does that mean there is one player from the 70s that I could take as a franchise player into the 80s even if I the player only has one season on his 80s card?

The player would need to have a season on his 70s and 80s card for the team you are keeping (and should have been on the concluded season’s year end roster).

For example, I have the SF Giants and have Gary Matthews and Jack Clark on my 70s team (at end of season). I can protect Clark, since his 80s card has seasons with the Giants - but not Matthews, since his 80s care does not have a Giants season.

Can you post the current season so I can see the team that has the Braves and Astros?
