Semi Final Seeding?

Can someone tell me exactly how semis are seeded? I know top 3 go in different leagues, but then division placements etc.? Is there a template posted somewhere that I missed? Not presuming I'll make semis given so many fantastic players here....but just wondering. Thanks,
