RIP Jay Johnstone

PostWed Sep 30, 2020 1:01 am

Long time Major Leaguer and true original Jay Johnstone passed away this week. I was at a game at Candlestick in 1977 with my dad. We were sitting down the right field line just beyond the dugout and he got waaay out in front of a slow curve and hit a frozen rope right at us and we had to duck real quick to get out of the way.
