Finals. The Big Train (his 12.4 Million Card) pitches a shut out in Game 2, exiting while still at F9 . . . still gas left in that old tank.
He starts Game 6. Is pitching a shut out into the 9th, yet goes into the 9th (he's an S9 of course) at F8. He gives up a walk and 2 singles in the 9th - and 1 run - and goes to FO.
Of course, at F0 HAL brings in Burgmeier, who gives up a 3 run homer to Markakis. Series over.
It would be nice to get some sort of better explanation about how this pitcher fatigue thing works.
