I wish his ATG cards reflected his dominance especially in 68. Someone else said the same thing when Seaver died that his cards and Gibson's don't express their dominance but I'll second that emotion. I've used all of his cards and gotten decent results but no 20 win seasons. In fact on Friday we drafted a league and I got every player I drafted EXCEPT Gibby. I'll never forget that 68 World Series, best ever by a long shot (IMHO), when both Gibson and Lolich threw 3 complete games. Gibson won two and lost one and Lolich won three. We will never see that again and will certainly never see Gibson's like again.

The Nebraska 100 greatest athletes has now lost its Top 2. As a youngster growing up in Lincoln and just getting into sports, Gibson and Sayers in the mid 60's were a point of pride.
