Here’s a small distraction, I’ll buy Mike some time.
I’m starting a publishing company and I’ve been going through all my music over the years
I’m recording this song tonight, this entire week actually,l thought maybe you’d like to see what it sounded like 26 years ago...Three days after I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. I didn’t tell anybody for another 11 years. I was 36.

Playing golf today, be home around 6PM. I'd proxy but A) what's the point at this rate and B) I need to see who my division mates draft before I make both my picks.

.....it's actually a nice thing picking last knowing who's in your division so I can make some attempt to counter their teams with the appropriate pitching staff.

I sent him a message in last season's Inbox yesterday at noon and it's still unread. And his Redbirds got swept at home last night. No contact in fact since he confirmed his intent to play season 32, which was last Friday. I hope everything is okay with him.

Well we go through a delay seemingly every draft; but I think this may be the longest delay we have ever encountered. Just not sure how to proceed at this point. Any ideas guys?

I am thinking we give Mike until 6pm tonight, if he does not show we will move on. If anyone knows anyone who might be interested in joining please let us know. I too will be on the golf course most of the afternoon, not sure what time I will be home.... but if someone else wants to create a post looking for a replacement that's fine.

32 is only my fourth league for the theme and I cannot speak authoritatively (from experience). But, we move very rapidly from the completion of one regular season (31) to the drafting of the next. For example, the first round of 31 playoffs started on Monday night and pdixon had already made the 9th pick in the first round of 32 draft by Monday night.

This pacing works for me as I keep a small pool of credits in the bank, have notifications turned on, and watch 365 account and board pages daily. But, it makes sense to me that other managers may not watch as diligently as I do. Especially with this exact timing whereby the 31 regular season ended on a Friday night, we're already 9 picks into the 32 draft before the 31 playoffs have started, and setting expectations to boot an unresponsive manager before the end of the work week.

I think that is just too fast. We never even asked anyone WHEN they would be ready. Just if they wanted to stay in. At a minimum, we should be setting some expectations or asking for readiness.

Just my opinion.

While you make some valid points, I don't think it's applicable in this case. Mike was in the play-offs in Season 31, and never looked at his team at all. He was knocked out last night.
