Randal, you took Buchholz 20 rounds too late!

Well, some movement today. I hated to let my first round pick go, but truth be told, I wanted to take Story, but didn't know if I'd run into cap problems.

My SPs aren't all that great, really hoping my fielding helps the pitching, if it doesn't we're in BIG trouble.

Ended up with Oberg And Lorenzen again. Not on purpose, well, at least for Lorenzen. We did have our sights on Oberg.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop with Semper and several teams didn't make any moves at all today.... Only have till Wednesday this time around.

My biggest concerns with my team are the injury risk with only two who aren't at risk for 15-game injuries and Trout is a 2 injury risk. I'm OK with my starters - not great, but I think Giolitto, Weaver and Odorizzi will be OK. Smeltzer and Keuchel may be another matter.

I've never had Lugo and took him early in the draft - don't really know how to best use him. I think I need 170-180 innings from him. The rest of my relievers are not very exciting.

I signed Canha and Happ again - they have performed well for me on multiple teams, when I can put Canha at 1B and DH Happ. My late move to Escobar instead of Bryant is because I will face under 25 % LHP and Escobar performs better vs. RHP (other than strong reverse guys).

I think my D will be decent - Vogt is a potential problem, but Leon will come in late, when necessary.

Spidey,

Thanks for your thoughts.

I thought for sure you were going to play Happ everyday at 1b again!

I'm sure you were happy when Swanson appeared on waivers. That was a good pickup to go with Adames.

You've spent a fair amount on pitching so it will be interesting to see how they do. You also have Naquin with a high injury number but he's pretty replaceable with your subs.

I think your team looks pretty good overall.

Yeah, I liked getting Swanson. If not, I would have played Hernandez at 2B and moved Fletcher to SS vs. LHP.

So far, no one is hitting for my team. I know it's early - but a 186/252/307 start? My pitching $ better pay off! :)

Lots of lucky rolls against you last night.

I think all my other teams are sucking away the luck from my NLD team.

I have a team finishing tonight so maybe I can re-route some luck back into this league.

Down 8-7 in the bottom of the 9th, Sano decides to go big or go home:

BOTTOM OF INNING 9
0 A.Eaton 6-7 Fly Out (LF) b-0 F9
1 J.Winker 3-11 Ground Out (1B) b-0 F9
2 M.Sano 3-5 Strike Out b-0 F9
INJURY: M. Sano for 3 more games

Oof. Well, if you're gonna do something, go all the way!
