$90m Post-WW2 Franchise League - LEAGUE FULL

PostFri Oct 16, 2020 11:09 am

Who was the best franchise in the Post-WW2 era (1947-1966)? Come join Post-War Franchise League II and let's find out!

Choose player set “ATG 9 post-WW2” and draft a $90 million team composed only of players from that one Post War Franchise. The 15 viable franchises alphabetically are BAL, BKN, BOS, CHC, CHW, CIN, CLE, DET, MIL, NYG, NYY, PHI, PIT, STL and WAS. A manager can only use player cards from their picked franchise team. For example, if you choose DET as your franchise, you can only use the 1955 or 1959 card for Harvey Kuenn, while if you choose the NYG, you can only use his 1962 card.

Team Name - Pick one that makes your franchise choice obvious to others so there are no duplicates. If your franchise changed its home city during the Post War era then put both names as part of your team name. For example - LA/Brooklyn Dodgers, NY/San Fran Giants.

Ball Park - Pick a stadium that your franchise used in real life in any Post-WW2 year represented in your franchise.

Helpful Hint - When choosing players with the ATG 9 post-WW2 sub-set, you cannot easily see each franchise list. An easy way around this is to search for one player you know is on that franchise then click on his team name.

First Come First Served Rule – Many Post War players were on more than one team and can be drafted by multiple managers. The manager that gets them first has rights to them unless they are dropped.
