Go Rays! They beat the Yankees and the Astros. Very impressive!

Torn right now, but I'm sure I'll work into picking sides at some point. Would like for Dodgers to finally get over the hump and hope Kershaw is the Series MVP, ORRRR go for home boy Mississippi State Bulldog Hunter Renfroe to get a ring.

The LA-ATL series was great! Well-played, exciting baseball. The players are really fired up to play. I think the World Series will be great, whoever wins it. These teams are both really stacked. I am hoping that this is the year that the Dodgers will take it. Go Dodgers!

I pulled for the Rays throughout the playoffs so far, but this is the year the Dodgers will finally end the 32 year drought.

My head says I would like to see Kershaw throw two great games and get a ring. But I find as I watch the games getting more excited when Rays score runs than LA. So must be something subconscious rooting for Rays.

I think LA had an advantage going in having played playoff games in Arlington and the all west regular season. Rays making their first appearance at Globe Life will be less familiar with the nuances of the park.

A little bummed series is being played in my back yard but not able to attend any.

sorry 'ho hum' ? I don't think so, it's the World Series is baseball not America's pastime? Don't be surprised if the Babe and Ty Cobb are both waiting for you just inside the pearly gates frowning.

Speaking of Babe Ruth; There was a great exchange between Joe Dugan and Waite Hoyt who were both pall bearers at the Babe's funeral. It was a hot humid August day in New York and as they were carrying the Babe's casket out of the church Joe Dugan said "it's so hot I'd give a hundred dollars for a cold beer" and Waite Hoyt said "So would the Babe, so would the Babe"

Have to agree with ho hum. I still love baseball history, but any sport that encourages cheating by not punishing the cheaters may as well be reality tv. I haven't watched a game since MLB announced no Astros players would be punished for stealing a World Series. Is it hockey season yet?

lanier64 - thank you for the Babe Ruth story

gamiam - huh? is the series on tv the fake series and the Astros are really off playing the Brewers somewhere?

I can see why some people don't care, though, it seems to me that in game 1 the Bums scored most of their runs other than via the homerun
