I guess could have allocated more money to starting line or RP up and not so much on bench. However, have some players that will not make it injury free for the year so maybe it will work out. I guess it makes since with this years set to over weight relief pitching.

I wonder what kind of team one could put together by going with a minimal SP and maximum relief pitching with multiple RP(2) and a quality closer. Maybe a 55/m batters and 25/m pitching with 19-20 on RP. Might have to try something like this sometime.

My thoughts on the above - I spent 1/4 of my 7th ranked lineup on Trout, who is currently 5 for 62 with an OPS of .455 and half of my 8th ranked RPs on Lugo, who has blown 2 saves and lost a game.

Just wondering why if I paid so much into pitching I started off last

They're making inroads now.

Hitting is the big surprise...for now.

I'm still trying to get a bead on the SOM changes for bullpen. I used to totally unweight RPs, push SPs for CGs, but quickly realized that wasn't gonna work anymore.

I'm hoping for a little normalization of rolls. Right now Pitchers are down 50 and Hitters are down 39. Has to even our sometime, doesn't it?

Thanks for all the comments guys, makes things more interesting. As for me, I'm a little surprised I have the most in the lineup, I figured *someone* would have gone more whole hog than I did. I don't think I'm *that* skewed, but maybe I am. We'll see if this strategy works. So far it's been *ok*, but there's so far to go.

LoL. One can hope, but you've seen my "luck factors" enough over the years to know it doesn't always happen!

Same boat here; down 32 in pitchers & 37 in hitters.

Well after an early season (15) game injury I get Gary Sanchez back tonight. It will be interesting to see how many games he misses this season. Not used to using a high injury person in an important position in the line up.

Huge loss for our squad last night: McNeil for 15. My second in 27 games. :( Losing Dyson wasn't such a big deal, McNeil? Huge.

In the meantime, both Jeep and Randal made moves. Care to elaborate fellas?

Lost Gary Sanchez for another (5) games after he just returned from a 15 game DL stint. May have to rethink high injury guys in the future... :( Also lost Longoria for (10) games. Did benefit form a move of Miguel Rojas into the starting line up to give Schoop a couple days off.
