Just wondering if we can argue about European politics

Just wondering if we can argue about European politics. Like that BREXIT deal.....Never thought the UK should have joined the EU, should've been independent.

Ok...this should be safe enough: I think whether Britain leaving the EU would have been prudent depends on a rational assessment on the costs of intrusion on their sovereignty by being in the EU versus the likely economic benefits (I think most economists think that Britain is better off economically in the EU). The fact that there is some evidence that Russia was involved in helping the Brexit campaign...might indicate that such a rational calculation was not made.
