I've Made the Playoffs With 25 0f My Last 28 Teams..

As for Nev’s original thoughts of how unlucky he was
1) Based on entering 28 leagues random luck of only winning 1 title is a 28% chance

2) however once you make the playoffs 25 of those 28 winning only one title in 25 1 in 4 chances is 3 in 10,000.


So if you get 3,333 individual runs of making playoffs 25 of 28 you should see only one win after another 93,000 leagues assuming you continue to win at this rate Nev.

However the odds on winning 8 titles in a row randomly as Last Druid did is one in 430 million

So when people say this will balance out, how in the world is that possible? We playing another 430 million leagues?

Didn't win 8 in a row, won 8 out of 12. teams in a row. Nothing I haven't done before either. Titles tend to come in bunches for me, interspersed with droughts of varying lengths. My ATG 9 playoff percentage was under .500 for the first half dozen teams to finish. Last time i looked it was .553 for regular ATG9 teams and .545 for playoff ATG9 teams.

If you look at the parks I used during the 12 seasons, you can see I was just experimenting with the efficacy of small ball at various caps in ATG 9, with the vast majority of teams played. I view all of my teams as experiments

Oh....gosh...what a...TERRIBLE thing to have all those playoff teams and come up empty. That’s just...tragic...

Lost another Finals tonight in game 6 to my friend DVT...and the beat goes on.

Someone has to be on the other end of the fortune - right now it's me - not hitting a high % of teams in the playoffs, but have won titles with 4 of my last 5 playoff teams. My overall win % is actually slightly higher in playoffs than regular season, probably because I play around with experiments that turn into turds that drive down overall win %.
