NLD 55 - Le freak, c'est Chic

Ugh, tough series against KLX tonight. Winning two would have tied us.

Oh well. I need Sonny Gray to find his touch again. He's been pretty bad lately. Over his last 9 starts he has a 6.32 ERA and that's *with* an 8 inning shutout game.

Our pitching has completely deserted us. 20 runs allowed tonight. It's pathetic. Got swept tonight. Doesn't look like it's in the cards for us.

Two unearned runs in the first game didn't help any.

Game two, a 6 run 8th with the help of 3 doubles off of the pitcher's cards.

Third game wasn't competitive.

We make a run to 1 game back and then lose 5 of 6. Blah. We suck.

When Trout finally decided to start hitting, everyone else quit.

Well, spoke too soon....Montas out for 10 games, two of his last three starts. Not as bad as Aquino, but still a tough blow. Oh, and it came with 2 out in the 9th of a 9-1 game.
