I've never seen six injuries at one time - only 9 hitters available for your next two games. AND, you are still tied for the division lead! You, fortunately, have a boatload of versatile guys.

Six games to go and only toshiro and Semper are sure of a winning record for the season - and just barely for them!

Jeep, it seems the Strato Gods, much like the Greek Gods of Old, don’t like to be back sassed.

On the positive side, looks like Nythhawk has taken some good inj hits as well.

Sorry to hear it Jeep, that's tough luck, but remember, you never know. Almora performed as well as Springer ever could have in the Finals last year. Just remember, "it's all in the dice" and hope you get some splits.

The crazy thing is, 10 of the 12 teams have at least one injury right now. The only teams that don't are Stoney and KLX!

Sorry Milleram, I did my best, but got swept. Lost two in extras including an 18 inning game! We were also without our best hitter (Reynolds) and lost the replacement Cano halfway through game 2.

Story of my season I guess. Here are signs of problems:

A 10 mil player (Story) hits 226 with only 22 HRs.
Gurriel who batted cleanup v RHP hit .269 v RHP
You have 3 regulars v RHP at or under the mendoza line: Choo, Gardner, Dyson. And another, Flowers, who hit 211 with a 281 OB.
V LHP. Gutierrez hit 235 (198 overall) with 3 hr and Martinez hit 266, Altuve his 246 (236 overalll)

Ok, Petco isn't a hitters park but it's not *that* bad.

I did get good performance from McNeil 296 and Reynolds 331. I guess 2 out of 14 isn't too bad

Pitching
Gray and Montas were at least close, Striping, Tanaka and Duffy all had ERA > 5 (remember I'm in a pitcher's park or am I?)
Oberg was good, but Guerra (the cheap one) wasn't (4.69). The scrubs were completely awful: Peters allowed a 316 average to LHB! Brach 263 v RHP and an off the charts amazing number of 536 (15/24 with 8 walks) v LHB!

Gonna draft in the East when you do that. :(

Well congrat to the playoff teams, this has to be the closest NLD of all time.

I knew going into the night it was a longshot for me--I lost all the tie breakers, WC included if it came to that--even wining all 3 games--it would have made no difference.

Good luck to all the playoff teams.

Great NLD season.

My team was about as expected. Mid-season I thought we had a good shot at the playoffs, but we lost the last 10 starts by Giolitto - he went from 15-6 to 15-14.

Congrats to the playoff teams. Kept hoping for a late run but getting shut out 5 of the last 6 games isn't a great way to end a season.
