Since they award 3 bonus free teams in a 12 team league I'd like them to be awarded as follows. You get one team for having best overall regular season record and one each for 2 teams that make the world series. I think it treats good drafting and managing through the regular season and luck of the playoffs.

I've always thought the team that has the best record in the regular season should get a credit, and the team that wins the world series should get two, but there is no way they would do this, because they wouldn't want one player getting all three credits.
