why a force at 2b on single

I'm not sure how you get a force at 2b on a single?
What am I missing here in the 8th?

Tjeres nothing to indicate why this happened in game, it stopped a rally and potentially cost me the game (along with HAL continuing to give me imbalanced rolls for 10+seasons) .

Likely scenario: Runner was hit by the batted ball. Runner in this case is immediately called out, and the batter gets credit for a single.

Actual scenario: He misread the play. It was runners at 1st and 2nd and the runner at 2nd was thrown out at the plate.

What are you talking about clearly says o-2.
What mechanically is happening here to cause an out. I know it'll. But there's no clues. Its just frustrating and seems like the game glitched and gave me a loss.
Is this defense charts? Is this the effect of infield in?

Hodges singles. As Smith says, runner on 2nd is thrown out at home. That's the 2-o. Runner on 1st goes to 3rd, 1-3 and batter went to 2nd - b-2 but neither of those matter since the 3rd out was made at home

At the bottom of play-by-play it lists 2-o as runner thrown out. Presumably at home plate (I guess maybe there could be a situation wherr he was forced at third).When you have a double play it will say 1-o. That means the runner on first got forced at second. If he was thrown going to third it would still say 1-o. The 2 just indicates where the runner started, not where the out got recorded. So, as the above posters indicsted, the outfielder just threw him out at home.

O,B: Number of outs, bases occupied at the time of the play. "0 2" - No outs, runner on 2nd; "2 1 3" - 2 outs, runners on 1st & 3rd

Baserunners: The fate of each baserunner as a result of the play. "b-1" - Batter reached 1st; "3-H" - runner on 1st scored; "2-0" - runner on 2nd thrown out

Misc.: "gb(SS)X" - Fielding chart X-chance; "bpSI/bpHR" - ballpark single or homerun chance

PCF: The pitcher's Pitch Count Fatigue status after the play.

Lex, you need to reset. I know you're frustrated but you need to dial it back. There is no wide scale conspiracy against you, so don't look for false needles in a haystack.
