2020 Tour Finals: Draft Order & Chat

1 + 6 = 3 + 4 maybe?

Everyone is adding their thoughts, I have been pro "position" trades for drafts going back to the first live drafts. However, feel like more often then not (+50%), some kind of issue arises like later in the draft some have even cancelled the trade, or after the draft there are issues with trades because someone did not do their math right, or the draft turns into constant complaints about the fairness of the trades, all sorts of non-anticipated issues.

Although I would not like to restrict managers from managing....I would like a smooth as possible, fast as possible draft.

I am very disappointed we do what like 6 leagues one way (draft card). Then the finals becomes a whole new animal. I am expecting to have to draft completely different for the finals league and probably have to have 1 or 2 back-up strategies depending on how picks go. To be honest, that is enough madness and managing for me......just adding "stuff" will topple the Jenga tower.

I oppose trading draft picks. It’s a recipe for bogging down the draft, and I want to league to begin as soon as possible. Change the rules for next year after full debate, but leave the status quo alone for this year.

There’s no rules regarding the trading of picks, but I guess I tend to agree with the “not bogging things down” and “unintended consequences” arguments.

Right, there’s no rule saying that you can or can’t trade picks, nor is there a precedent where people did trade picks in the Finals. It’s going to take painfully long as it is to get people to draft in timely fashion.

I opened up the draft thread. Hendrix08 can get us going anytime, but we can only do the first nine picks until League 1 finishes their Game 7. Radagast Brown will move up to 10th with a win, or teamnasty will pick if stevep prevails.

we will get a credit for making the finals? probably shoulda saved a few of those credits

Wow, it's almost 3:00 pm EST and we have had ONE draft pick all day. ...

Are some of you guys in the Pacific time zone, or Hawaii?

At this rate the draft will take 2-3 months.

I definitely could be wrong, because I am not familiar with all of you guys but it looks to me like the WEST is the toughest division.

MM is onto something with his new strategy, and Jeep and J-Pav have won multiple tournaments. ... I am a lower seed in my first PC but I am no slouch.... Well actually, I can be a tremendous slouch, but not at this game.

This does look like a very tough group, especially when my first 7 picks were gone by pick 8

Speaking of time zones ... I am in Hawaii, so will not likely pick before 10 AM EST, but will make sure to check throughout the day.
