Sooooo are we getting 2 new sets or 4???

Do you all think there will be an unleashed set this year? If so, will there be one for each set, Traditional, Traditional Unleashed, Imagined, Imagined unleashed??

I'd guess there will be no unleashed set as the Imagined set is essentially Unleashed on steriods, but I'll be curious to see what the IP and PA cutoffs are for the traditional set this year.

I also wonder if 28 man rosters should be the norm??

My guess... just that, is there should be 3. Real, real unleashed, and imaginary. Reasoning is that the imagined set is already adjusted so there should be no need for an unleashed.

Forcing 28 man rosters would force a rejiggering of pricing. Doubt they'll go there.

Wouldn't the IP limit be a simple ratio mathematic equation?

29 IP/162 games=X IP/60 games

29*60=162X

1741= 162X

1741/162=X

X=10.75 IP

Rounded up to a minimum of 11 IP to be included.

They could do that, but that's an awfully small sample size. I would expect it to be 20-25 IP.

The ration method may make sense on the surface. But the logic of at least 29 innings in 162 is in theory because with fewer innings the statistical accuracy is lessened. Regardless of 162or 60 game season that minimum sample size for creating an accurate card is not going to change. So there will need to be an adjustment down but cannot be the full ratio.

In my mind because half the set would be unleashed in a normal year I would call the basic set unleashed and be done with it.

Another factor to consider. If you have 4 sets that will mean the strat manager playing would be diluted by 4 making completing leagues potentially more difficult task. So I think they should just have 2 sets and be done with it.

In the past, the 29.2 IP minimum resulted in a consistent 225 - 235 RP's each 20XX season.

Smitty's minimum, prorated number of 11 IP would result in 288 RP's in the 2020 game.
Joe's 20 IP minimum - 160 RP's

A 15 IP minimum? 239 RP's.
