Stars of Yesteryear - new league

New 12 team, 100dh league just set up with the 2007-2014 unleashed player set. This set can be found under the ATG custom subsets. There's a good selection of players available, I'm excited to play it. Hope to see you there!

Only 9 more and we’re off to the races. Pennant race, that is! This is a great 8 season player set of all the MLB teams from 2007 through 2014. It is not a mystery which season your player’s performance is based on. You pick the player and their season. Of course, it is a mystery sometimes how the dice roll, but that’s why we play the game.

That's a fun set. Too bad no one has extended it further for the option of 2007-2020...

If I didn't have four tournament teams going I would join you... It is the type of set where you can make a team to your liking even if you have a bad draft because there are just so many players and cards.

There are 8 seasons for all the MLB teams. So plenty of players, and of course, many of the players have multiple seasons. For a 12 team league, you would have a good opportunity to craft your roster despite a bad draft. I know initial interest has been weak, but I think it will be fun.

Also, I might add, that while I have mainly been playing the ATG game, I've become a little disenchanted with the some of the unrealistic stats and ballpark effects that are inherent in that game. While I've never played this set before, I'm looking for a little more realistic game outcome with the benefit of a larger player pool. The unleashed players in the set may provide some distortion, but overall I am looking forward to it.
