59 years old and first started playing with a friend who had the 1971 set so I guess I have been playing for 49 years. My first sets were the 1972 baseball and football games and the football board game has always been my favorite by far. Eventually also got the basketball and hockey sets as well but they were considerably weaker than football and baseball.

Forgot about Strat for awhile until I discovered the computer game in the 90's and bought the board game for my oldest son. Eventually wound up playing 365, first in Auto Leagues and now almost exclusively in Keeper Leagues.

I'm 64, been playing 50 years

51 I'd say I played the cards in my youth for about 6 years, then forgot about Strat and have played online for about 9 years now.

49 myself - first introduced to SOM as a kid watching my brother play SOM Basketball in the 70's. Even more bizarre when you factor this was all in canada.

love hearing about some of the people here. its clear the SOM roots run deep. I do think we need to figure out how to pass the torch somehow- otherwise this game will disappear.

Played the card and dice game in school (with F.O.X., FoggyOne, and others) since around 1975. Stopped after high school then picked up the online game in 2003. So, by my math,

58 years old. Been playing Strat for 46 years.

I'm 57, Was introduced to Strato in 1984 while in college. Played a tournament with the 1983 season and been playing ever since. I play in about 3 or 4 Purestrat tournaments a year and a few 365 leagues a year. Prefer F2F.

I'm 57. I've been playing since 1979. I didn't play much from the late 80s until the online game came about (Through The Sporting News) in the early 00s. I've been playing again since then.

I'm 43. 1986 was the first season I rolled the dice. Introduced by my dad. He, myself and my brother all play online.
