FYi - I am semi-retired, but I work p/t, Mondays and Fridays, and the occasional Saturday morning (tomorrow). I work in a very busy department in our local hospital. I will try and check in on the draft once or twice in the morning and afternoon, as my work allows, and I will definitely check in during my lunch break. I will be on my phone when I do, so I can post, but not able to cut and paste. Thanks.

I hope 1787 is alright. Maybe he just forgot about this league. If we don't hear from him, we'll have to select another team for him. Suggestions welcome.

There were a few other guys (blineimages, ron.johnson50, phalfoot) who commented in the original discussion room - expressing interest in the league or concept. Perhaps one of them would be interested in taking over the team if we don’t hear from 1787.

Is anybody in a league with one of those managers?

He just made a draft pick in my other league this morning, so I am surprised he did not pick here. Maybe he forgot he signed up?

I don't want to be unfair about it, but maybe we should just give him the D'backs as a sort of penalty and move on. We gave him a break in the first round. Or we can just wait if that's the general feeling...I dont have strong feelings either way (though it would be nice to move this along!).

Foolish me - I just realized 1787 is in one of my other leagues. I just sent a message, letting him know we are waiting on him.

I will make another pick for him. Please suggest best teams to complement his first team (Indians). We should take Joey C suggestion and contact someone to take over his franchises. Will y'all recruit someone?

I reached out to a frequent Franchise League player, we will see if he is interested.

Just my 2 cents here but that's unfair. Give it some time - maybe he is working at this time or is busy otherwise?
