Hasn’t been a lot to update the last couple of days in my daughter, but I have one today. We have been awaiting insurance approval to move her from the hospital to a rehab facility and that has come through. So this afternoon so will be moved from her hospital room next door to the inpatient rehab center to begin transition rehab. This is to teach her how to be self reliant while she spends the next 8-12 weeks wheelchair bound to allow her pelvis to heal with minimal pressure or movement. We expect her to be there for the next two weeks. Still working on where she will be afterwards either home with us or in a handicap accessible room in her sorority house. She is great spirits, managing the pain with muscle relaxers and ibuprofen and Tylenol for the most part. It’s actually really amazing how for she has come since awakening from surgery 9 days ago. Thank you all for your kind words and support.

Thank you for the update Bill. Youth is amazing. It sounds like she will have great support wherever she ends up.
