Nomination Ideas--OUTFIELDERS IMPROVEMENTS

I would not hold my breath for 1984 Winfield. Now if he played in 1884 and was named Rube, he would be a shoe in.

You know what they should do if they were smart? They should allow you to be able to pay for whatever player you want to be added to the ATG set. You're allowed 1 player per year.

Charge oh I dunno, $25? $50?

That way you get excited about who YOU want and you don't have to go through these insane nomination processes with dudes talking up the merits of some rando 2B that you've never heard of.

Try it for a year! See how many people actually pony up and if it works out eliminate all these nominations, maybe do them once a year tops.

So I'd pay $40 or whatever for my Dave to get in whatever frikkin year I want him in and that's the end of that!

Winfield's 84 card is in the Corner Outfielders Post in this thread (though I actually think 1988 is better). Nominate him, would be a nice addition.
