You guys are doing great. If someone thinks differently let them have a stab at doing your tasks. It seems easy on paper but in actuality it is a ball-buster! At least it is if you've never done any spreadsheet work before. It's simple repetition along with some learning of spreadsheet processes (I still don't know how to make running totals on a google doc) that will improve your ability to edit spreadsheets.

This stuff was super frustrating for me when I started. I was so convinced I could never learn how to do any of it. But Traveling Jack finally was able to get it through to me that I needed to learn how to be a Commissioner - and know how to work with google docs - if I was going to start a league (which I did). Now I'm part-time Commissioner to two leagues. I'm still not anything close to perfect but I try my best. Just like you guys.

This work humbles me. Anxiety and google spreadsheets do not go hand in hand. They are a foul mixture!

Thanks Fred. This process has given me a very deep respect for what these commissioners do to make these leagues work for us.

I think you should consider another small tweak to the league doc however. I get that the ‘freeze pane’ function is used below row 5 to keep manager names visible on top, but having TSL 3 - American League frozen in rows 1 & 2 doesn’t make any sense and no doubt has contributed to some AL players ending up on NL rosters. You can just cut and paste these two rows below the freeze pane line and this would help. But as you said before separate AL and NL tabs would also be good (and very easy).

you're absolutely correct, bigmahon ... seeing "AL" frozen at the top has thrown me many, many times during this draft.

I am going to separate the sheets - probably not until after the FA drafts are over in TSL and a couple other leagues I'm in ... as you know from being in multiple leagues this time of year is busy enough. I just want to make sure I separate them and don't accidentally delete anything. I feel like I'm separating conjoined twins! LOL
