Was playing golf..

Team is done.

This is the lineup I'd use, let's see how HAL bats them

Default vs. LHSP
This is the lineup that will be used when facing a left-handed starting pitcher. Exception: if you are facing a LHSP with a balance between the balance range you've set for either of your vs. LHSP Alternate lineups below, that lineup would be used instead.

Default vs. RHSP
This is the lineup that will be used when facing a right-handed starting pitcher. Exception: if you are facing a RHSP with a balance between the balance range you've set for either of your vs. RHSP Alternate lineups below, that lineup would be used instead.

Nice start.

Looks like Hal values defence at catcher more then offence. Overall, Hal did well.

Yeah, that is kinda crazy that he'd start a $0.60 catcher over a nearly $2.00 catcher. That HAL is a genius.

It would appear at first glance that HAL doesn't know how to manage a pitching staff any better than the rest of us.

Yeah, I didn't really give him a great relief corps to work with, but wanted Babe on the team

Would like to drop Killefer for some bum so maybe HAL would play Phelps, but I'm committed to keep the team as built and let it play out.

HA DOES THIS and I lose 3-2

BOTTOM OF INNING 9
SUBSTITUTION at P: Dave Roberts (L)
0 O.Gamble 5-7 Pop Out (1B) b-0 F9
SUBSTITUTION at PH: Cecil Fielder (R) (role: platoon PH)
1 C.Fielder 1-8 Home Run (CF) b-H F9
1 T.Holmes 5-9 Single (SS) b-1 gb(SS)x F9
1 1 D.Evans 2-2 Walk 1-2 b-1 F9
SUBSTITUTION at P: Sam Nahem (R)
1 12 E.Valentine Wild Pitch 2-3 1-2 F9
1 23 E.Valentine 1-4 Single (LF) 3-H 2-H b-1 F9

He must have gotten exhausted fielding the ground ball out back to the pitcher

Sorry guys, had to make a small change. Made a little run when Killefer got hurt and Phelps got to play. So cut him to see if he'll play Phelps FT.

HAL still started Schmidt over Phelps.

Guess Phelps is a Babe that HAL doesn't like!

Maybe it's a defense issue and HAL just insists on starting the better defensive player. I see you picked up Rudolph. If HAL starts him, then you KNOW for sure it's all about the defense.
