I'm playing 81 games in my park and 12 in your park. I'm building my team for my park.

You go to compose new message in your inbox.

Apparently there is a loophole in the private leagues that allows you to see the divisions you are in after the league is full and not all of the teams are marked as ready... ok that's not ideal, but it goes further...if you click on each person's name it also shows you what stadium they have chosen....this is very concerning to me. Somebody needs to take care of that...like getting rid of that ready for draft button/status.

Below is my message to the league that I was made aware of this glitch/loophole

To me it is a very sad day when a game causes so much dissention. While not accusing big willie of cheating, the fact that he has knowledge of this loophole is concerning. There is an air of unscrupulous behavior there. Yes you let us know, and I guess thank you for that. However now I feel that people do go out of there way to find ways to get an advantage in a GAME!!

I can tell you not even The Last Druid (who is way more accomplished at this game and way smarter than me) wants to win more than I do. I would do anything to win that isn't cheating or unethical. I am an old fashioned kind of guy, a throwback, a dinosaur, etc. etc. I guess I would rather have been ignorant of this so called glitch. Or at least that everyone was.

The good news is this, you don't necessarily win bc you know what the other guy is doing and you change your strategy...does it give you a leg up, yes it does.

The Last Druid (whom many of us consider the best) has kicked my ass in multiple leagues, but guess what, even little old me has gotten the best of him sometimes. I love to compete against the best, ask them questions and learn from what they do. I don't want a cheat code or a glitch to help me...hell I don't even want a spreadsheet loaded with algorithms to help me...my computer is between my ears (weak as it may be)

Beat me if you can but if you cheat, you didn't really win. I never will. I have too much respect for myself and the other competitors to EVER do something like that....that good ole winning percentage ain't worth my dignity or my self respect

Really? NO team should be able to enter a league until it is 100% ready for the draft

That's not the way it is for Private INVITE leagues. The invite puts a team you have or will take you straight to PURCHASE it and then it drops it into the league whether you have filled out the draft card OR NOT. It will however, NOT LET YOU MAKE THE TEAM READY until all of the minimums are fulfilled, like # of players on your roster (2 catchers, etc) that you have set rankings AND picked a stadium.

Only then can you mark your team as ready.

But yes you certainly can have a team in the league with no players chosen.

But it looks like the fix is confirmed I guess so that's great. Hopefully there aren't workarounds for it. Thanks Moose for acting so quickly and decisively, and also thanks to Coach, Druid, NTexas Widowmakers, et al. It helps more than just the integrity of the tour.

The loophole in the oversubcribing method is the guy who parks his place in the league without really doing his team. Ill make changes...but thats a delay of 30 minutes or whatever. A slight delay. Do your team and submit it as ready. Then up to the time the league fills go ahead and make changes. Do we really have to make rules for everything for people to behave appropriately?

I don't disagree freeman, but it is the way SOM implemented the invite system. And the invite system for tour purposes was to mitigate the cherrypicking of leagues by players, which I think was worse than waiting for the "team ready" laggards who are at least present in the league and not AWOL, which was always a separate problem.

My league is full but 3 or 4 teams are not readied. As long as they can't see all the opponent's choices, I am less concerned. Annoyed but not concerned. Since I happen to work pretty long hours during the week, I prefer having as much of the weekends to do analysis and team construction. But oh well.

Thinking back to not too many years ago and how leagues were filled, this is vastly better I think. Is it annoying to wait when everyone is assembled and someone wo is ready may be waiting on the outside looking in? Sure, but again, see paragraph 1. :)

Impressive Moose getting them to fix it so quickly. And on the weekend! Wow. If I complained about it they would ignore me or say they would get to it ASAP (i.e.when hell freezes over). But Moose has influence...

I agree with you. The invite system is great. Kudos for Moose getting it set up. Im just bitching about a minor flaw. It's no big deal.

Tim, Steve-
I think you guys are missing the point. Its
a) not just one park
b) it tells you a lot about the availability of players you might be able to get on your card -
especially significant in higher caps.
