Why wouldn't it stand, it's clearly within the rules. Was going to be Posey or Haniger, but Posey fills a more pressing need and with him going 4-5 last night made the decision easier to make. Prospect draft is much weaker this year, IMO, thanks to COVID and no minor league season last year. How do you change rules in the middle of a draft. As stated in chat thread, it was mentioned that something to change going forward for 2022 and beyond.

I am not going to argue otherwise. I just found it amusing after the discussion, you were the one to pick him. I mean, I expected it. But, personally, I wouldn't have had to stones to do it since I brought him up as an example. A 34-year old being available in the prospect draft is still stupid unless it is Crash Davis, though.

Figured I would select him before you did, since you brought him up, not me.

If this league wants to change this rules mid-draft fine with me, its clear to me now after reading the rules again that its open to interpretation. So, if I was commish I would pause the draft and make a ruling on this before proceeding. Posey, Haniger either are avaialble or not avaialble until next year's FA draft, as they would not qualify for supplemental draft either. I'm fine either way, but if draft doesn't get paused now that becomes an issue. I will email Tim now about this.
