Hey Bill - I couldn't tell from the rules if the divisional assignments are 1-4-7-10, etc every season, or was that just for our first season, and they we're reverse order of prior year combined records every season after that?

Division assignment of 1-4 etc only first season. Every subsequent season is based on the previous year for season 1 and season 1 results for season 2.

So draft order determines divisions as folliows:

EAST
Teams picking 1-4

CENTRAL
teams picking 5-8

WEST
Teams picking 9-12

Season two will use season one results as follows:

EAST
teams with bottom 4 records

CENTRAL
Teams with next 4 records that are not playoff teams

WEST
playoff teams from season 1


This ensures that at least two playoff teams s are different every season. It also means one of the division winning teams could be in the west with a lower winning percentage than teams in the central.
