Question regarding Ballpark FX

PostWed May 05, 2021 11:19 am

In a 70s Mystery League, Rick Auerbach has one plate appearance, which is a HR off a RHP via the pitcher’s card (in the 6th game of the season). Yet when looking at the Sim Misc data, it shows he’s 0/1 on Ballpark FX Single Opportunities. How is it possible for a player to go 0/1 in Ballpark FX single and also hit a HR in only one PA?

Thanks

It's been my observation there are bugs in their statistical reporting software with no intention of fixing them. However, it might be a good idea to go through each box score for Auerbach and see if he actually does have a second plate appearance.
