Injuries are killing me! Voit, just a '1' injury, has now been injured 5 times! That is just crazy bad luck for a guy not injury-prone. Likewise, Verdugo has gone down 3 times.

Yeah, injuries stink for sure. It is always interesting to see how the luck factors play out.

We've reached the halfway point. I'm surprised at how poorly the teams are hitting. The league average is .229!

The only team that can claim to be hitting for average at all is miller. I have toshiro as the best offensive team and, indeed, they lead the league in runs. I have my team next, but we have slumped lately and fallen off the pace. OTOH, I don't have my pitching nearly as good as it's been so maybe it's evening out for me.

And then the pitching....9 teams have ERAs under 4. That's kind of crazy too. Have you guys seen like results in other leagues?

I'm in 3 other leagues--two very similar numbers wise to this one, almost identical in league averages.

One with more offense and general crazy/wierd AI games on a nightly basis--but more power parks in that league--at least in my division.

Joe's rating may be revealing. Did we spend more than normal on pitching (RP?)? Is using the "actual" set producing more erratic performances (are the standard deviations he uses larger than normal)?

My run production is not far off what I expected - with underperformances offset by good ones. That probably means that I didn't build all that great a team.

Jeep, I seemed to notice that in the past when I had 1 injury guys with 3games max injured (ie: Bregman.) You are thinking "great, I won't lose him too much" but the A1 is thinking "great, I can now injure him all the time, just 2-3 games at a stretch." I have had guys go down 8-9 times a year, ALL for only 3g or less, but still cost you. Unlucky for sure!
