Which teams are left?....
Not the Yankees, nope, why would. think I'll ever have a chance at them. It's the Eyore rule.
Not the Red Sox, could have been them in season 9, but nooooooo, I wanted to see an 8 team national league, so I picked the Braves who I've successfully mis-managed for 12 seasons, rather than the Red Sox who were fricken loaded like a shrapnel shooting cannon with no A"s or Indian franchises to take players from them
Indians- been them
Browns - I'm kind of them right now in the expansion league; they look interesting
Braves- been them
Pirates- been them
Reds- was kind of them in the not to be mentioned 'golden league', but I wouldn't mind having three seasons of frustrating Big Red Glory to go with 19 seasons of plain ole frustrating
Senators/Twins- haven't been them, Big Train, Blyleven, Carew and a whole bunch of misery
Phillies- Ole Pete, Schmidt and .....(chirp, chirp..... small tumbleweed....creaking door...)....
White Sox- hmmmm, eternal small ball, solid middle infielders, tarnished reputation, the greatest fan/stadium experience of my 30 stadium tour with me Dad ( I LOVE White Sox fans, Phillies fans a close 2nd place)...........
Give me the White Sox please suh!
